The Italian shared his experiences with children aged between 12 and 16 at the Centre Jove ‘Per Amor a l’Art’ facility
Valencia CF defender Cristiano Piccini took time out from his injury rehabilitation work to pay a visit to the Centre Jove ‘Per Amor a l’Art’, a facility that offers behavioural and educational support for vulnerable children aged between 12 and 16.
The centre is backed by the Social Area of the ‘Per Amor a l’Art’ foundation in Valencia.
During his meeting with the children, Piccini talked about overcoming adversity and fighting for one's dreams, as well as giving advice and fielding queries in a Q&A session.
"If you can help people, then you have the obligation to do so," he told VCF Media.
Amongst the questions, the Italian was asked about Valencia CF's upcoming Champions League game against Atalanta, and he said that "It will be nice to get back into the Last 16 of the competition, especially with it being in Italy."
"I know Atalanta well; It will be a tough game, as they are very strong physically. At this stage of the competition, every opponent is tough. They are very strong, but we have everything required to win and go through to the quarter finals."
